Alhamdulillah, praise for Allah, 2009 coming to its end.
Ohh.As posted in my Facebook status,during my childhood, i never expect that 2010 is exist. haha. May be i was think that this world is getting old and near to al-yaum al- kiamat (the Hereafter). So people, let's be grateful that we've given another chances to be good khalifah (vicegerent) on this old earth. Another opportunity to do our taubah for all our bad deeds etc and not to repeat it again in future:) Another chances to be good to other people around us. And to be a good 'abd to our absolute creator, Allah Almighty.

As human being, we all will commit mistakes. So, i would like to apologize to all my deareast friends, customers of Sheifashop Ent. and my blog readers if i did and say something bad towards all of u guys, intentionally or not.
May Allah bless us :D

THE FUJI MARU

Here's the photo of the new ship for the SSEAYP 36th 2009.
As the ship will stop in Malaysia this year, so it will be a few country program held around KL.
Because the ship will stop at Port Klang,Selangor. @ Star Cruise terminal.
From 19th to 22nd November, i'll be involved in the country program management
as i help the Homestay Commitee works.

Insya Allah i'll upload the photos of the event photos after the ceremony ended.
There are a lot of differences about Fuji Maru and my beloved Nippon Maru ship.
Of course Nippon Maru ship- cruise ship is more more more grand and luxury compared to Fuji Maru-the training ship.

( Yeayy! I just finished my final exam just now! Will be back to JB next week after finishing this country program works. So excited! =))

Ohh..it's been a year after my SSEAYP life experience!
Happy 1st Anniversary to all 35th SSEAYP PYs;)

One year ago..
Malaysia Contingent consists of 28 Youth Ambassadors and 1 National Leader
had departure to Narita Airport, Japan from KLIA at about 10am.

With the sleepless night on the day before (because of packing our luggage) ,
we went to the KLIA at about 7am..
Regardless the sadness to leave the love ones in Malaysia,
We looks strong because of our mission for Malaysia.
We're excited as for us it's the first experience to go to Japan and sailing for 52days:)

We arrived Japan in evening about 6pm i think.
Cant remember he exact time but i know it's evening.
It's so unbelievable that we already arrived Japan!JAPAN! The most admireable country.
before waiting to take all our luggage, we have to queue up a long line just to fill in many forms since it was our 1st time in Japan, and because of the SSEAYP program.
and it contains the important things and main clothing for the program.
and yes, we have to wait for sometime to make a report to the airport officer,
and after it settled, we moved to our hotel,
Sheraton Miyako Hotel, Tokyo.

Eventhough we're a bit tired because the long sleep in the plane,
but we're really excited when we get into the bus on the way to the hotel.
Our Country Admin, Masa San and Mii Chan welcoming us to Japan with their short brief about the programme and we get 1500 Yen for each person from the organizer.

And we're really fascinated with the surrounding along the road as we can see the view of Tokyo Tower, Tokyo bridge and some other building that i cant remember.

After about 30minutes to 1hour, we arrived at our hotel,
and we'll be informed that our contingent is the last contingent which arrived on the day.
Meaning that some of the other contingent arrived early in the morning.
Woahh.Meaning that they might already walk around the city for a half day.May be.
But it's okay, we're really excited and can't wait to wait for the next morning to meet the other contingent! (because we're not allowed to come out without permission)
and that 1st night in the hotel, we had our 1st contingent meeting :)

and yeah, we had the 1st dinner box,the 1st Japanese food that we eat in Japan.
it contains some sushi and some sticky rice which i can't really eat it,and a cute drink.
coz it's my 1st time to eat sushi tho.
so it's a bit hard to swallow it.
luckily they provide a banana too.
so i just eat the banana and them get some Maggi noodles later on.

ouch it's really memorable! ;D
we'll be continue with what's happened the next day.

This was taken during the 6th day of Aidilfitri Celebration in my hometown, JB. I really excited as i can meet my sweet ex-schoolmates back on my last day in JB (25th Sept 09). I went to Nadiah's house for a while and then spent few hours at Haney's house. It was fun coz we played 'bunga api' as well (Hanan's bunga api) . I was so excited as i never play it for quite a long time since my childhood days.

Still fresh in my mind about this HATED-DAY for all participants of SSEAYP08.
The day we have to leave each other.
The mourn morning.
We even didn't sleep the night before, as we don't want the 11th December 2008- morning to come.
We spent our time together. The precious time. The last time of SSEAYP08.

I can still imagine, how bad i cry.I cant even look back the PYs when we're about to leave the ship, coz it hurts. Malaysia leave Nippon Maru at 6.30 a.m i think. Among the earliest.Then from the Tokyo Port we went to the airport.How everyone in my contingent seems so quite at the airport until we arrived our HOME, Malaysia. How sad to leave Nippon Maru. How sad to leave 330 friends.How sad to leave my cabin and cabinmates. How sad to leave Japan for sure.

A part of IIUM Angklung Club members

Actually this is second IFTAR @ iium that i attended after the IFTAR with STABAZ @Entrepreneur Club (EC) team last Monday. Credit to the mainboard of iium Angklub Club who manage to organise a happening IFTAR for all cultural club in IIUM. I don't know why, i feel happy when i join them. May be because of their friendliness and sporting. Eventhough ii'm quite quiet while socializing with them, and may be not popular among them, they made me smile with their friendliness. I think the good thing of my Angklung Club is the unity among us and the they are very respectful towards others.

And because of Angklung Club, i've more new friends in IIUM. Besides my new friends in EC. I love both of them. It's fun to meet people who have same interest with us. Mostly in EC, coz i can share and learn more about business and entrepreneur with those new friends. While in Angklung Club, i'm more to a 'new-learner' or a new beginner. As my intention to gain new skill and knowledge about music and arts, i feel happy to be known as IIUM Angklung Club member, and i'm more than happy to learn about the Angklung skill itself and also in term of the variety characteristics of the members, which is kinda 'unique' for me. Their attitudes i mean. And their way of thinking. I like to categorize this club as 'stress-free-club'. Only the members will understand this :D

The other club that i joined is IIUM Peers club. which is for IIUM-student- counsellor- wannabe. The future of this club is very good for me but the journey are really challenging. And yeah, only the members understand that situation. haha.

All above the matters, in this very first year, i'm more to learn, and observing while acting as well, though some of them thought i look passive and quiet. Seems like i should start to show the real sharifah norizah , very soon. :P

Peace upon u who read my blog.

I open my blog everyday but not in mood to put some posts here coz i feel like i'm more updated in Facebook. haha.
Just have my break fast just now, alone in my room coz my roommates have their break fast at mosque today.

Alhamdulillah, it's already a week of Ramadhan. Seems like time goes so fast and it's not really hard for fasting during classes period. This Ramadhan is the 4th Ramadhan without my dad. And yes,this time it seems like slightly different than the previous Ramadhan. This is my very first time fasting in university, and without my family around during sahur (eating time before start fasting) ,and also break fast with roommates/friends. It's a new experience anyway and i think it's not a problem for me except to wake up at 4.30-5.00 a.m for sahur. hahah. luckily my roommates are the easy-wake-up-person in the morning. huhu even my mom already tired to make a call for every morning to help me to wake up for classes. So bad of me, right? hahah

Few days back, another one JPY08 was in town! He's Takuma Iwata @Takku, my Discussion Group mate during SSEAYP,from Japan. He's in his Southeast Asian tour for 3 weeks and he went to Myanmar, Indonesia, Singapore, and next will go to Vietnam to meet VPYs and of course his sweetheart, the sweet Zuzu VPY before his trip to Bangladesh. Surprisingly he will go to Bangladesh alone without any contacts there which i think it's very challenging . And he went to Myanmar, the less-visited-country among PYs, which he said it's very strange and a bit weird to be there. I'm looking for it, Takku. So courious to know how Myanmar looks like. Have a plan to visit there with some of my MaPYs .InsyaAllah.. I'm so envy with JPY who always have a chance to travel alone, to many countries, in a short time, with a less pay! Oh JPY, please give me some of your Yen! ahaha. Just met Takku for a about 2hours, as bro Kay MaPY08 invite to join Takku and him for break fast at Sate Kajang Hj Samuri, near Tmn. Melati as they just come back from short- KLCC- Batu Caves-tour, as my university is just near to Batu Caves. This time i forgot to take photo while eating, but just snap a photo with Takku when i arrived my hostel and it's in Takku's camera.will update once i got it from him:)

Damn miss to hangout with my abang2 (brothers) and kakak2 (sisters) and one and only adik (youunger sister) in MaPY08. And yeah, tomorrow will meet them and also MIYP-secreatariat '09 gangs and also other batch of MaPY tomorrow . Miss their tease, jokes, and laughter. Tomorrow- 29th August we'll be having a secretariat meeting with En.Mod frm KBS (ministry of youths and sports) for the Country Programme, and homestay when Fuji Maru (the new ship after Nippon Maru) stop in Malaysia in this November. Feel like so excited to work again with them, and yes, for the new PYs of SSEAYP batch 2009. the good thing is, the ship will come after my final exam ended. Thank you Allah for giving me the chance for me to help the new SSEAYP batch. huhu

Now I've just finished 3 of 7 of my mid-term exam. Next week i have 3 more to go and the another will be done after Hari Raya. And i can say that, seems like i'm playing around with the test by not-really-read-the books. Which is very BAD:( Hope i manage to work harder than now.

P/S: I've bought ticket for Hari Raya vacation,which will be on 13th September.will be moving from IIUM to JB. Can't wait.

New semester, new friends, new stories

Pheww, it's already the 4th week of schooling since i start the new semester. Yeah,8 subjects for this sem including the CCAC subject. Seems hard, but yeah, what to do lah. Have to go through jugak.

A lot of thing happened, and yes, the Pre-Departure Training (PDT1) for the NEW mapy-batch2009 was done (31st to 2nd of August). woahh, i feel deeply touched as my moments as a PY were already passed;( i miss those times!

As what i can see is, MAPY09 are a bit matured, compared to my batch, as their ages are apparently in range of 25 above. only 2 PY are 20-21 yr old. During my time, Vynecia and I were 18-19yr old. And yea, i feel excited to watch them during their training. I'm being one of the committee for this training, as secretariat again under my super friendly boss, Abg Khairul,kak mas,and the others. And during this training, another Abg Kerol @Kerol Kilat, Bro Wan and Bro Mael were the physicial and discipline committees. and the others are the same faces of cheerful ex-py who actively contributes to KABESA and KBS like, bro kay, kak yan, kak ila, kak ida, bro zaidi, vee, kak alia, etc. But no bro wandy this time. coz he's undergo the Wataniah Training until 22nd august i think. And yeah, happy to meet the friendly KBS officers again like En.Mod, Kak Fadh, En.Saufi and En.Lan. Make me remember all the times working with some of them in MIYP09.

During the 2nd day of training, kak sun, kak sun, mei peng, and tery also come along, it was fun to meet back many mapy08 in a day! :) that's what the best thing in KL life is about -meeting MAPY08:) or other mapy batch too.

The few weeks back, i met Tuan VPY08 with Mimi VPY08 and few MAPY08 -dennis gan, kak sun, tery and vyencia, and soma (a while). We went to the Ampang Lookout point again, and the exciting time was the time we open the special gift from JAPAN to all PYs, that's -THE SMALL MODEL of Nippon Maru Ship! ;) It's sooooooooooo cute! and we felt like ...'woahhhhhhhh' when we opened it. so touched, and etc feelings that can't be express by word. All the memories came back.

and then we went to Chinese Pasar Malam for the very 1st time in my life .It's located at Taman Connought. Learned a lot about the pasar malam@night market and can see many differences with the Malay Pasar Malam. Kak Sun being the story-teller about the pasar malam. haha. oh forgot to mentioned, i'm the only malay during this trip. hehehe. so goood eh,

wOhOOOooo.. it's been a long time i didn't update this blog in May with my stories. Yeah, it's because I was busy on May.Hehe.Now i have about few weeks before my new semester in July. Oh ya..There's a lot of FUN and valuable moments happened in May- early June. What's that??

FIRST: 9-10th May 2009- Retreat part2 IIUM Peers. It's FUN! View my IIUMPeers blog.

SECOND: 11-17th May 2009: I'm involved in Malaysia International Youth Programme (MIYP) 2009 which i told before in my last post. I'm one of the main Secretariat. One of important job i guess. I really enjoyed being one of the manpower and really satisfied because i can help and contribute something to my beloved country, Malaysia and also help the KBS (ministry of youths and sports) and KABESA(sseayp international malaysia) as organizer (as they are the panels who choose me to SSEAYP) :) I can conclude tha the programme was pretty successful because we did our very best and we get good response from the participants and asked us to organize this programme again in future with longer period (wahhh.. 5 days not enough eh? ) haha. With helps Bro Kay and other friends in organizer team as well, we find the participants and gather all 137 participants from 14 countries for this programme. I will write more about it in a special post soon. Thanks to the great abg khairul, the supportive bro kay, the motherly kak jan, the cool encik lan, the funny encik saufi, the hardworking bro wandy, the responsible kak sun and other MIYP organizing members! I love you all, I learn a lot of things in this programme! :) Cool.

If only I know about this supplement drink (ALPHA LIPID) earlier, I could introduce it to my late dad. He might be better and the possibility of heart attack might be reduced. But now, I only can suggest it to my beloved people around me right now, so that we can live in healthy life. Now I introduce this to my uncle who suffer back pain and also bone problems. He get better now. Alhamdulillah . Now I want to give to my cousin who have skin problems, hope she can earn the benefit :) Now, I would like to share it with my SHEIFASHOP customers, so I sell it too as Alpha Lipid distributor in JB and KL . Home sweet home.
I'll be back to JB this 18th April. But only for a while,because i need to be in KL for MIYP next meeting on 26th at Menara KBS,Putrajaya. The important meeting, i guess. Thanks to Allah, we get good response for the programme.
I hope all will work out well. Amin.

Yea,my exam is over- last 9th April. As usual, i don't want to comment about my exam. I hope i get good marks, if I deserve it:p

Now is the time for Semester break.Thanks to Allah, I've finished my semester 1,which is the free semester for me, because just take English subject,and 2 more subject. The bad thing is, have to remove hostel now. I've just finished packing my things.My bulky things. Haha. It's really tiring, because I pack it at the last minute as I have to go back tomorrow.

But it's okay, I've more tiring + worst experience in packing things before .It's during my Pre-Departure Training ,before SSEAYP .Haha. I still remember how my contingent mate and I packing and finalize our things 2-4 hours before we depart to Tokyo, Japan. And it's for 52 days journey and we only allowed to bring 13 kg per person, if I'm not mistaken. Can u imagine ?
Haha. But, we made it through. I think i've photos for that, I'll upload later if I found it. That's a part of my bittersweet memory ;)

I'm so excited to welcome many PYs who will come to KL this coming weeks. For Kak Yasmin's wedding. It's nice to see many PYs who will come and celebrate another PYs wedding. It will be great if PYs couple get married. Haha. Like Tasha BPY07 and Kamal SPY07. So lovely wedding they had, because so many PYs came to celebrate their wedding.I wish I could invite my dearest PYs 2008 members to my wedding soon.Haha. With my badluck partner i guess xD

To SPY08,BPY08, JPY08 and other PYs who will come to KL this coming weeks, hope to see you guys soon:)

To my mom,sister, my friends in JB, I'm back to JB!!! haahahha. finally. I feel like I haven't go back to my hometown for about 6 months after SSEAYP. I just come back to my hometown for about few days after SSEAYP, then i got into my university. So, can you imagine how much my mom miss me right now?Haha.

I'll go back with Saki JPY08. She want to see my hometown, then we will go to Singapore.For a few days only, because she will be having examination on 24th. It could be a nice 'short trip',as I never enter Singapore after my childhood, I can't remember when and what age. Eventhough it's very-very near with my home. Haha.

JAPANESE LEARN MALAY CULTURE

Last 23rd and 24th March, UM has organized a traditional dance (23rd) and creative dance (24th) competition in conjunction with their FESENI 2009 (Festival Seni) /Art Festival. I went to the 24th performance to support Saki JPY08 as she involved in the performance as representative of her college.

I went there with Vynecia, bro wandy and bro k (mapy08) and also bro nazron bpy08 and his bro as he's in KL for few days for holiday with his family. So, we bring him to give support to Saki as well in UM (University Malaya).I really impressed with Saki coz she can dance Malay dance perfectly (even better than us).haha .she learn in a short time yet she can perform well. MIYP MEETING with KBS Officer

On 20th March 2009 , i've sit for the English Level6 Final Exam in CAC. No comment about the exam. Coz I can say that it's hard ne. Then in the evening, I went for the last PeerEnhancement Training (PET) until 5pm. After that, I've rushed to Grand Season Hotel, KL, to attend a meeting on the MIYP project with KABESA and Mr.Mod from KBS and teh committee of the project. I stayed in the hotel as it's provided.Pori was arrived may be at the evening. After finished with the meeting (from 8.30pm-12am), we went out to fetch Mai-mai at KL central,and we went for some 'leisure supper' and came back to hotel as the meeting will be continued the next day at 9a.m -12pm. And on 21st, we had fun hangout around KL until midnight. See photos.

Thailand Homestay Part 1

The SSEAYP'08 Homestay in Thailand was the 4th homestay during which was held on November 2008. It was the HAPPENING and the most memorable homestay among the rest 5 homestay:) It's because of my sporting and FUN homestay mates...there are 10 PYs all together. because our foster family were a big family. they are siblings and relatives ..so they have connection one and another. so we, the 10 PYs become like siblings!!! The great thing is..all of us can speak Malay Languange- because it consists of Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Brunei Participant Youth! :) -They are : ME, Kak Dahlia,Bro Lan, and Kak Wan from Malaysia, Bro Ariffin, Kak Khaty and Kak Rina from Brunei, Kak Jannah and Bro Nat from Indonesia and Bro Rezal from Singapore. And guess what? it make our family become SoooooooooooooooooooNoisy. yet FUN to the max! ;) We had pointed Bro Rezal as our big bro and Kak Dahlia as our big sister :p

Our foster family were a big family, and they're Muslims Thai. Our home is located in the Muslim are called Tungkru Town. It's an amazing experience for me cause I can observe the Muslim Thai daily life:) and it's good for us also coz we had no problems on Halal Foods in Thai ;)

My mom in Thailand is very young women..and have two pretty and handsome kids name Hawa and i forgot my lil bro's name. hehe. my mom don't want us to call her mommy..she prefer us to call her Kak Mai..Our family we're not Thai people who can speak Malay..but they understand Malay words. So our conversation were in English eventhough their English we're not that good, but understandable :) But Kak Mai's @my mom's English is very fluent because she used to study and married with one Italy man. But she divorced and 1 of her daughter. Her 1st daughter is now with his husband . and now just Hawa and her bro live with her.

She said her 1st daughter look alike me. That's why she's very graceful to have me as her adopt daughter. And she said, she's very sad if one day, her husband will think about to take her daughter and son who live with her now when they're 21 yr old :( I hope he wouldn't//.

DAY 1
We had a very great time in Thailand. And of course, we're not missed the shopping opportunity in Thailand! I still can remember the funny moments in Thailand. First is..a WELCOMING DINNER held only for 10 of us! Since my foster aunt, Mommy Fatima own a Nursing College, she organized a dinner for us which was attended by the nursing students and some V.I.P from Tungkru. It's was very suprising ceremony for us and we're overwhelmed like a very special guests. We're very touched..and 'confused' at times...because it's a bit grand!..not so grand, but it's really happening!

During the welcoming ceremony, we have to introduce ourselves in front of the guests.. and there's some speech from the V.I.P and from our foster parents. Mostly in Thai Language. and there's a lady who is said to be our 'relative', who is a teacher, who translate all the speech in English. to make us understand. They seems like very happy and welcome us sincerely. Evennthough we're sooooooooooooooooooooooo tired, but we still smile professionally to everyone who came. who are very excited to meet us as Participant Youth of SSEAYP2008 @Youth Ambassador from Asean countries.

After the speech, we had a dinner with Thai foods. Nyummx3! Very delicious. Hot and spicy! I like the Tomyamkung! And after dinner, we watched a Thai traditional dances by small kids.. So cute! and also a 'Dikir Barat' from the Nursing students. They speak Malay Language in Kelantanese slanga! So fun! hahah.Then the funny thing is..after the performance, we're invited to dance with them in Thai dance.. At the fisrt time..we just follow...but..the musics repeated so many times! until we felt very tired! and pray hard so that they can stopped the music. But didn't show our tired face..but we try to give our happy smile professionally.

Enough with the dances, we also had to be like popular celebrity who have to smile when they snap the camera for photo-session. It's very funny to recall that moment. Because, there are soooooo many photo-session. And everybody wanna to take photo with us. The same goes to the nursing students, i can't remember who and how many students come to me and asked to take photo with them :p

After the tiring welcoming ceremony, we don't want to waste our time to go back and sleep, but we asked our foster parents to bring us anywhere which is interesting. Due to the time, midnight, we're brought to one midnight market. I cant remember the name. It's similiar to Downtown in KL. There's so many shops and things sold. At the fist time, Bro Rezal's mommy- Mommy Fatimah doesn't give permission to go, because she said. it's dangerous for us and worried for our safety. But then Bro Rezal persuade her, and finally, yeah, we can go! ;) (no photos)

After we having a several round at the night market and bought some things (i bought 2Thai Skirts) :p , we decide to go home. I can't remember the exact time. But i think it's near 3 a.m. Before we went home, we had a 2 dinner, or we may call it as 'late supper' .Hahah. We had some porridge + Salty fish at the roadside food stall.Everybody was sleepy at that time. But still enjoy eating it! ;P

After that, we went home for rest to get ready for Chartuchak weekend market @ JJ Market on the next day and some plans were ready for us. We're tired but we don't bother our tiredness coz Thailand is FUN!!

HAPPYYYY! just now i joined a performance.-ngklung performance...with my IIUM angklung club..the most happening club in the IIUM.i'm very glad to givethis great opportunity toperform angklung in an event..We're invited by the one hostel council in IIUM.We called it Mahallah Asiah. They have an annual victory award ceremony. So we're playing 4 songs for this performance..with only 1 DAY practice! Good job everyone!

Actually i asked a committe members of this ceremony to help me record our performance..but then..this is the result of what she's recording. She didn't open the sound button and not recording the full song for each song that we perform! That's why can't hear the sounds when it's being transfered in my laptop. So frustrated to see this video result because i'm very excited to see my first performance since i joined this club last month...Huhuhu..Never mind.I'll upload the next performance, insyaAllah. As what i've been told..it will be held at Istana Budaya (IB) - a grand place for art, theatre,musical performance .in Kuala Lumpur.

I am lazy to update my blog lately due to some reasons. First, because of my classes and activities in my university. And second, because of my natural laziness. Hehe :p

Now it's about 3 months after the SSEAYP'08 programme. And as the other PYs, i think it's only time measurement to be counted, but our brotherhood and friendship spirits will remain forever:) All the moments is still fresh in my mind and believe it or not, i think it's will be remembered forever in my life. Continuous relationship through calls, chats and 'facebook' (almost everyday) make us more close and seems like we're still in the programme.:)

All that happened is like a dream. A dream that i never expect it to be happened in my reality life.:52 days mix around with various type of people, stay in new countries which i haven't went before, learn new cultures, exchange opinions and thought will other religion and races, having 6 new families and the best part is to represent my beloved country, Malaysia as a youth ambassador.

Currently, the 35th SSEAYP official report session 2009 was held in Japan. All admin staffs and Japan Participant Youth(JPY) 2008 were having the evaluation and report session to the government of Japan. It's really make me cry when i see all their pictures (in Take's facebook) because it make me recall every minutes during the programme. How i really x1000 wish to rewind the time, so that i can't repeat the programme and meet back all the PYs. sigh* (if only doraemon really exist. will borrow the back to the past machine.hahah:p )

I'll start my writing on my SSEAYP experience from now on.Because I'm in sseayp sick mode again right now. Hope i can make it:)

NEW STARTS

i'm chosen as the vice president for one club called IIUM Peers (peers counselor) in my University.it's a bit shocked, but i accept it sincerely. coz i like this kind of club as i was president of my school guidance and counselling club before. i hope i can enhance my leadership skill then and of course will learn to develop myself and contribute something good to people around me:)

and i also joined one musical and art group .that is Angklung Club. it's really happening! i join this club because i really addicted to angklung. i miss those VERY MEMORABLE MOMENTS in indonesia last November where about 330 participants of SSEAYP played the historical !music instruments in a hall, with only ONE GREAT CONDUCTOR.forgot her name.very talented conductor.so impressive!and the best thing is, each PYs get one angklung with different note.and we play songs like I have a dream, shimauta,etc. according to the conductor hand(she shows the note signal by hand) SO NICE!
so very sunday and wednesday night i'll have class on this Angklung club!;) and we'll be invited to do performance anytime. and might be joining angklung tournaments.

Yeah, i'm not updating my blog for few days.
coz busy with my classes.
anyway, the holiday is not exciting at all to me.
1st, because it's very short.
2nd, because nothing to do.many shops/places close.
so, i just sleep all day (haha!) and spend time with my family of course.
and do some research on my assignment as well.
that's for my 4days in JB (23rd-27th January 2008)

Today i met my SSEAYP friend a.k.a my cabin neighbour on board Nippon Maru,a.k.a my SG-I mate, a.k.a the cute, fun n funny JPY08..
She's SAKIIIIIIIIIII JPY 08.

I planned with Bro Khairul MAPY08 to meet her today.coz i'll be busy for the next few weeks.with mid-term and university's programme. So i take the chance to meet her today. We met at Mid Valley.coz it's near to UM, the place she's studying now (her course is in Malay Language!) woahh;0)

Wahh, really miss her.and the bad thing is..I didnt know that today her birthday!!
haha...I just knew it when i gave her a baju kurung.then Bro Khairul said, 'Wahh..it's a birthday present for Saki?'..I thought he's misunderstood coz i give saki that baju kurung, but then it's really Saki's birthday today.Haha.So, i give her at the right time lah.Haha~

I used to give her on board. But that time i didn't bring extra baju kurung to exchange with her.That's why i give her today.Hehehe:)

We just walking around Mid Valley ..and talk2.then go to Garden.and talk2 again.
We went to one like gift shop.Then we play this. Haha:p

we dun stop laughing because of the duck until we get out from the shop,and seems like the salesgirl is not comfortable with us because we play the duck.but we dun bother.haha

luckily bro kerol buy something from that shop(one baby duck for saki as birthday present).
if not, we might be scolded by the salesgirl.hahah:p

and then after we have went around the shopping complex, we went for dinner before going back. i think few hours is not enough for us, and we actually proceed this sudden outing plan because bro khairul know that today is Saki's birthday and just want to celebrate it,and as for me,this is the best time, i mean free time for me to go out from university, as I will be busy for the next becoming weeks. MID-TERM EXAM WEEK.

i hope that we can manage to meet back in the future weekend as Saki will be in malaysia until May 2009. And the good news is, more JPY08 will come in this March! wahhh it's great!

suddenly make me remind the CCU(cross-culture understanding) discussion group on board..
who made the CCU campaign with the theme 'sit with someone new'.hahaha

i remember, that all PYs been asked to sit, talk, eat with someone new, means new friends everyday.not with the same friends, same people from our contingent.
it's very2 good actually.
that make us mix around with new person everyday..but i regret that we don't manage to get know all 350 participants very well on board Nippon Maru..

Luckily i have the opportunity to know and take photo with Mr.Kapten of Nippon Maru.hahaha. THE MOST WANTED man in the ship:p kidding:p

Talking about new friends... again now i met new friends...in my Uni life..

and because of SSEAYP...i bond friendship with 11 countries youths,
and relationship with 6 family from 6 countries.

today i received a YM message from my adopt mommy from Phillipines, Mommy Sakamoto.
she said she want to come to KL on 5th february ..
and asked me to find for 2/3 star hotel.

wahhhh...so glad to meet them again!
but hopefully i can have time for them, to see them !

I'm still in Pre-sessional programme, but i can transfer my credit hour for the subject:
Science of Hadith to the next semester if i started to study my pure course. Human Science.

so, wish me luck for my studies.

no. i'm not give up.

yesterday, 30th dec, i got my EPT and APT result.

ohh yes, i'm not exempted.:(

my Human Science Course requirement to start Kulliyah @ course for new direct intake is :

-to be passed or exempted for EPT

- means passed the level 6 of EPT

AND i got:

EPT: level 6

APT: level 4 of 6

so..that means, i have to learn the English Course starting level 6, and Arabic Course starting from level 4 before i can start my Kulliyyah@ course.

and it takes about one semester may be.

Haih..:( that means, i can't start studying my Human Science course until i finished my Language course. And that also means i will be placed in Pre-Sessional Programme all this while.

I really upset and frustrated. coz i need to study the language course for one semester.

ohh. and it will make my studies period very LONG .

(i cried for this yesterday.haha:p)

but never mind, i know all these have been planned by the Lord. and i will meet with the sweet miracle ahead in future:) so, just go through it with smile, eifa:)

so, i'll start my classes next year.

on 2nd january '09, i need to register for the English level 6 course. and i hope i can finish it a.s.a.p :)

SSEAYP SICK PATIENT GATHERING

yesterday, 28th dec 2008, i attended Bro Kay mapy08 brother's wedding at Jeram, selangor.
i went there with 6 other mapy08: kak sun, kak yasmin, terry, vynecia, bro wandy and bro amir.
we went there by kak sun' car. bro amir went there by bro wandy's car.

all these are sudden plan.
actually at the 1st time all said don't want to go, coz all busy etc.
at last we can make it.hahah.
and that was my 1st time going out from my university by bus, and take LRT train and komuter at the place that i've been never went before.haha.

we're very very excited to meet back few weeks after SSEAYP! and we talk about SSEAYP along the way to bro Kay's house.
you know what? we wore our B1 attire to that wedding ceremony! so coool right?? ~
and everybody look at us...i think the might think that we'll perform something for the ceremony.hahahah.but we're not.

we keep laughing at the ceremony. Kak sun said we're like in the homestay program like in SSEAYP.haha.
and we said we'll perform 3 minutes performance after we eat! haha.

all the thing we talked about is only about SSEAYP. every topic we talked about will be related to SSEAYP. ohh so sseayp sick!

and after the wedding, we went to Bro wandy's house, coz it near.his house is in Klang.

we watched the National Day Performance vidoe together ..and we laughed to see ourselves dances..so funny..

and i just know that so many spontaneous acts done by the MaPY boys that we never planned and never do during the training.hahah. but it looks nice and make the performance more lively and funny.haha. Only MaPY know what was that .

after we watched the video, we actually planned to go back. but suddenly we decided to eat together. then bro wandy bring us to the Jusco , i'm not sure the place's name.

And gain! ou sseayp sick virus come again!

Bro wandy act like he's the foster parents, bring 5 of us (me, kak sun, terry, vee, kak min) to the shopping mall. then he pretend like introducing us to the shopping mall, what the best place to go inside the mall..etc.

Kak sun act like she's the JPY. haha she told bro wandy about what she can and can't eat. haha:p

then, when we passed by the money changer, bro wandy said to kak sun " if u want to change your money to malaysia ringgit, you can change it here. i'll wait for u'

hahah. all that reminds us to our Homestay program during sseayp.hahaha.

after that, we go to the steamboat restaurant. and we ordered a steamboat set for 6 of us.

Bro wandy treat us! wahh he's very kind ne? thanks bro.

he said, never mind, that's become his responsibility to take care of the foster PYs.hahah:p

the, we chat x10000 and talk x10000 about sseayp. all the things happened in sseayp. about the funny thing, sad moments, happy moments..nippon maru gossips..etc.and we talk so LOUD and laugh and at times scream so loud. i can see people around look at us. but i just don't bother.because that make us happy.hahah.

we're like in our own world. yeah.our SSEAYP WORLD.hahah

until we don't realize about the time. and actually our steamboat almost finished.

then we decide to go back. it's around 6p.m something . i cant remember.haha

then on the way out from the Jusco, we still keep on talking about sseayp.

until we forgot where we parked the car. haha.

bro wandy will go to different way on that time. and we want to go to the Bdr tasik selatan lrt station back. 5 of us followed Kak sun's car. then when we want to get our own way..

we act like we want to throw the RIBBON to bro wandy as our foster parent (like we throw ribbon to our foster parents when the ship want to sail back to the next port) hahaha.

it looks VERY CRAZY. but we enjoyed it.and we laughed like crazy.haha:p

Ohh my God...we're very SSEAYP SICK.

haha.

Guys, i really2 happy to meet u all :) i hope we can gather again in future events ya.

let's meet up again and get crazy with our crazy acts as sseayp patient, okay??

today is 27 dec 2008.
a month ago (27 nov) ..i was celebrating my birthday without my true family.
but i celebrated it with my new family, SSEAYP family:)

- first, i got SMS from my family in malaysia. kakak , ibu, bibik, cousins..all wish me. thanks semua.sayang semuanya:) can get signal coz the ship embarked in vietnam port.
- my angel sang a birthday song for me at that night.
- in the morning, before i go for breakfast, i got a msg from my angel in my letter box. wishing me happy birthday. thanks bro angel:)

- my MaPY friends +PYs sang birthday song for me during breakfast time in dining hall. no cake for me that time.but it's oke.i know they didn't have enoughf time to book for a cake from dining hall/hihi .
- kak dahlia mapy08 give me a kiss and greeting cards on that time.really touched that time.thanks sis:)

- my MaPY friends sang birthday song for me in front of PYs at the Dolphin hall during morning assembly. and like usual, JPYs sang the Japanese birthday song for me. thanks to Kak Yasmin@awin for this. she planned for that.
- got hugs and wish from some PYs. one of them is my mortal, Kim PPY. thanks sis.
- then some SG-I members sang birthday song for me in the bus during on the way to homestay matching in vietnam
- then many PYs who never talked to me before greet me for my birthday during the homestay matching.NLs also greet me.thanks all;)
- then my foster mama also greet me.
- but i feel like not so happy that time coz can't celebrate more with my friends on board. and i didn't get a wish from someone on board.haha.and i planned for a small party with my MaPy sis right after come back from vietnam homestay:)
- the very unforgettable moment is, during the closing homestay ceremony, one Vietnam volunteer girl come to me. her name is Long Huynh. she asked me whether i know XXXX or not. an then i said yes.then she said, one of my ex-py asked her to give the present that she hold, and that person said he/she missed me so much. that person is in malaysia during that time. wahhh it's so sweet.thanks to that person for that surprise!! u made me smile on that day! haha.
- after come back to the ship, i received a cute BLUE NECKLACE in my letter box. i dun know from who. but the handwriting looks familiar. it's not from my angel. i don't know from who. hope i can meet that mysterious PYs to say thanks:)

- then i had my small party with my MaPY sisters at rest spot at the night. really meaningful party! we took out the small cake from dining hall, and take a candle from another PPY who have same birthday as me ..and we celebrate it with noodles @Maggi yang lazat.hahah.
- kak yasmin mapy08 gave me a present : cute t-shirt form thailand, and kak wan give a box of present from Abg Lan mapy08. thanks abg lan and kak min!:)
- and my angel give me a simple yet memorable thing. Gucci watch, and small Gizmo mobile pouch.so nice!thanks bro angel! :)

and what i can say is...
SO HARD!!!
and i felt like want to cry.haha

i think i'll be not exempted.not passed.
the EPT is hard. the APT is damn hard.

never mind.as long as i've done my best.
and what will happen after this, have been planned by The Lord.

Welcome reception @Tokyo, Japan. (Oct 2008)

Hye all..sorry for not updating this blog with my SSEAYP '08 stories.. I know some of contingent mates have update their blog or journal about SSEAYP wonderful journey. I'll do it so.. in this becoming weeks. InsyaAllah.

Now I'm still busy with my university matters as I'm just register officially as student of IIUM,Gombak last 15th Dec 2008, right after Malaysian Contingent finished the Evaluation /Feedback session with the Ministry of Youth and Sports & KABESA (11th Dec - 12th Dec 2008).

I've entered IIUM a bit late on 15th Dec coz i couldn't attend the registration day on 10th Dec 2008 coz i'm still not come back from Japan that time (we arrived Malaysia at 11th Dec 2008, 3.30 p.m ) . Because of the late registration, all the procedures become late as the usual.
I've missed the *APT and EPT Test which held earlier on 11th Dec, i've missed the *TPT test which held on 15th Dec morning, and so on. Everything. Haihz. But luckily i can undergo the Ta'aruf Session ( orientation day ) for new intake student on 16th Dec -19th Dec). If not, I've to attend it next year on April!

So..i need to take all that test coz it's compulsory for all IIUM new intake student. Recently, on 20th Dec '08, i took the *TPT Test. Alhamdulillah. So next,I've to sit for the main test which will make sure when I'm gonna start my main course , Bach. of Human Science (Psychology). If I exempted for that test, so I can start my class for the Psychology course. If not, I have to take classes for the English and Arabic. So ..guys... pray for me so that I'll passed the test okay?:)

Today is my last day in JB (i'm going back to JB since 20th Dec 2008 ). Tomorrow (25th Dec) i'll going back to my university at 9.30 a.m . Wish me luck for the test ya.

I'm very sure, most of u never heard about this SSEAYP Program.
Okay.Let me tell u.. a bit info about this SSEAYP Program. ;)

SSYEAP History

The Ship for Southeast Asian Youth program is based on the respective Joint Statements issued in January 1974 between Japan and the Republic of Indonesia , Malaysia , the Republic of Philippines the Republic of Singapore and the Kingdom of Thailand. Negara Brunei Darussalam ,following full independence and its admission to the ASEAN in January 1984 , joined the program in 1985. The Socialist Republic of Vietnam joined in 1996 , following its admission to the ASEAN in July 1995 , and the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the Union of Myanmar joined in 1998 after having been admitted to the ASEAN in July 1997. Furthermore , in 2000 , the Kingdom of Cambodia also joined this program following its admission to the ASEAN in April 1999. This program is carried out by the Government of Japan with the active participation and cooperation of these ten Southeast. The main purpose of this program is to promote friendship and mutual understanding among the youth of Japan and Southeast Asian countries ; to broaden their perspective on the world , as well as to strengthen their motivation and ability in international cooperation by participating in discussions , in on-board introductions to each country , and in various exchange activities both on-board and in the countries visited. In addition , the participating youths are expected to progress to leadership positions in youth activities , and in various other sections, in their own country after this program.

The 35^th SSEAYP Ship for Southeast Asian and Japan Youth Program (SSEAYP) will be held from 21^st October to 11^th December 2008.The program’s Malaysian collaborator, the Ministry of Youth and Sport has been very selective in the selection of participants as only Malaysian aged 18-29 representing their organizations were chosen.

The SSEAYP is a 2 month cruise program where the ship will be boarding at each of the participating ASEAN countries and with Japan as an assembly point. The activities being held include conferences, discussions and debates on global and current issues affecting ASEAN countries, visits to educational institutions of the participating countries, participation in charity events organized by hosts country at port of call and promoting

Malaysia

through various cultural and social exchanges

What's the Objectives?

1. Promote friendship and understanding among youths.

Promote friendship and mutual understanding among youths in Malaysia, Japan and Southeast Asian countries.

2. Strengthen international cooperation.

Broaden perspectives on world issues and events as well as to strengthen participants motivation and abilities towards international cooperation.

3) Increased cross culture understanding

Initiatives such as home stay with foster parents help youths to understand other cultures that are foreign to them. Cross-cultural understanding helps promote a global understanding among ASEAN nations.

4) Promote proactive volunteerism culture among youths

The program serves the manifestations of youths’ proactive efforts to get a ’hand-on experience’ with real human issues and augurs well towards promoting a volunteerism culture among youths.

5) Honor long standing special relationship between Malaysia and Japan

Japan and Malaysia have a shared history and values our common Asian heritage that it is incumbent upon the youngsters of Malaysia to extend our hands of friendship with Japan, that rejuvenate the special relationship between the two countries.

SSEAYP Activities : What we'll do in this program?

Activities on Board of Nippon Maru:

a) Discussion (on youths related problems, suggestion )
b) Exhibition
c) Solidarity group activities
d) Club activities
e) Introduction to each country
f) Lectures
g) Studies for safe voyage , including lifeboat drill
h) Other activities approved by COC (Cruise Operating Committee)

Activities in the Countries Visited:

a) Courtesy calls and Reception
b) Home stay
c) Parties on board , and open ship
d) Program on interaction with local youths
e) Institutional visit
f) Welcoming ceremony and closing ceremony
g) Other activities arranged by the respective governments/ reception committee.

PDT1- Pre-Departure Training 1

Date: 11 to 13 July 2008
Venue: Mandarin Court Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

After accepting the offer, all participant have to go for Pre- Departure Training.
and this is the 1st one.
I went to KL, and this time ALONE!
and yeah, this is my very first time travelling out of Johor Bahru, alone.So kesian.
but it's not too scary for me, coz i go by bus and my uncle will fetch me once i arrived Puduraya.
not a big deal actually.haha xD

and yeah..before i go for this PDT1, i've find out who are my other selecion camp friends who have been selected for SSEAYP too.
it's all 29 participants.including 1 National Leader.
i was very happy can meet them again=)

After about 1-2 month after the Selection Camp, which is in June 2008..

i checked the university intake result...and what??
I got a place in my 1st choice university!
[IIUM ! - International Islamic University Malaysia or
UIA- Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia.
[Course: Degree in Human Science (Psychology) ] ;)

during i'm curious waiting my official offer letter from UIA ..

suddenly..

one day.. postman came..

and i got this letter! =)

i'm shocked because i never expect to get this SSEAYP program.
coz i'm not apply for that.but apply for another country program.
but..
in the same time..
i really grateful.and happy=)
but..
in the same the same time..
i'm eager to further my studies for my 1st Degree.
How??

On that time,i need to make one decision of 2 choices:
- accept the offer for SSEAYP 2008
- further my studies and refuse the SSEAYP offer

I really confused that time.Coz both are good.
I talked to my few trusted and understanding people's around me and i asked for their opinion:

- My great teachers: Pn.Kalthom and Puan Mazianah
RESULT: they encourage me to go for SSEAYP and defer my studies

- My good friend: Tika
RESULT: she encourage me to go for SSEAYP too.

- My YMchat advisor: Bro K,Yamin
RESULT:
Yamin said i'm still young and can still apply for those program in future,
studies is more important
- Bro K said go for SSEAYP but if only i really can defer my studies.coz it's once in a life time experience. and don't afraid to try to solve the problems right now, no matter what's the sequences after this, face it,coz it'll make me more matured in thinking.so just go for it.make your own decision.it's not easy to get SSEAYP.

and then i asked my family's opinion. My mom said if it's good form, then go for it. Same goes for my bro and sis. But..my another bro said, studies is important. and hard to get it. But at last, he help me to settle the deferment matter with UIA coz his lecturer in UIA said it's good for me to go for SSEAYP. And it's not a problem for me to defer my studies for one semester.
And yeah.alhamdulillah, Allah show me the best way out.

Final RESULT:
Sharifah Norizah defer her studies for one semester and accept the SSEAYP'08 offer.
Alhamdulillah. May Allah bless me:)

P/S: i'm happy i got this offer. but sadly, Syaza didn't get it. To me, she more deserve to get it.
PSS: I owe Pn.Kalthom the most( for her supports and her advices towards me)

IYE SELECTION CAMP (18-24 April 2008)@PD

IYE Selection Camp 2008 family. Miss them.

Miss all the moments.

There is a few activities held in this 3 days programme.

The special thing is, all the activities should be organize by all camp participants.

But some of them are scheduled by the main organizer -KBS and KABESA.

We get our own number after the registration as our I.C.

Haha XD. And this is my 'luck number'.

And our performance along this camp will be observe using this 'lucky number'.

We have morning exercise.

We organize Opening Ceremony of the Selection Camp

We practice......

...and we perform (Culture and potential performance)

We also have group discussion session on certain topic that have been given by KABESA and have to present it to all...

..and on the LASTday we have individual public speaking

and interview session ( by KBS and KABESA)

This is the most scary part of the camp ..

coz it's a major and important part for us to get selected XD

...and we bring back the FRIENDSHIP bond ..

...and our own BIG HOPE...

to be one of the selected participant =)

IYE Selection Camp 2008:Registration

This is IYC (International Youth Centre, Cheras), the place that i went for the registration for the Selection Camp Programme .

The first time i came in to IYC, i met some group of people. which looks like matured group, and like profesional group and some of them is like University student. And Syaza and I feel like.'Ouch...will we need to compete with them to be selected in the programme?'

Scary a bit.Haha.

I remember the early new friends that I talked to during the registration,

they are Kak Yan, student from UM, who came to me and Syaza and introduce herself and talk about her course of study etc and also Pavani wo suddenly came to us and introduce herself.

After i have a short chit chat with them, i feel like, i'm VERY SMALL compared to them :X

Around last April 2008, i received a letter.

Guess what?

I got it! =) XD Alhamdulillah.

then i text Syaza, and she said she got it too.

I told my mom about it, and said that Syaza got the offer too,

Then she allowed me to go for the Selection Camp which will be held the next week.

because i've a friend to accompany me.So it's okay for her.

and yeah, we immediately give a call to Cik Aida (the program co-ordinator),

to give answer about the offer.

So we went for the Selection Camp in Port Dickson.

And went to KL first because we have to assemble in IYC (International Youth Centre) before we went there.

And guess what? This is teh second time i travel with Syaza.

The first time is on early 2007, cause we went for a workshop in Wisma Pandu Puteri KL, but that time we're in a grioup of 6 ppl.

But this time, Only two of us. we travel to KL by train. Tiring but okay la.Because the train was sengal. I promise not travel with train anymore. I mean KTM train.Opppss.

TRYING

while my friends were working here and there, i take a challege to start my business@job as perfume dealer. even after my STPM result release. i think it is a new life chapter for me, as i can earn my own money.hehe.

eventhough it is not so big deal, and like a things that can't be prouded so much for some people, but i'm proud with myself for having my own money.haha. rather that working with other people, it's a different experience. yeah.

i feel like so very free along the period after i applied for university. it's almost 3 months to wait for the university calls. i mean the UPU result.

suddenly while i checked my emails, i got to know an offer to apply the International Youth Exchange Programme 2008 from my Girl Guide Association. And i read the terms and regulation and also the forms. I really interested.But i don't bother at that time. Cause i think i may not get it.So dont want to waste my time for it. Or put any hope.

few days later, i got a forwarded SMS from Syaza, my SIGS friend, about Miss Low ( my Girl Guide teacher from SIGS, advice to try apply the same programme since we do nothing in this waiting for university call period. Then i said i knew about it from email, and asked her whether she is interested or not. Then she said let's give a try. And yeah, we applied it together.

For this application, i do my very first international passport. i mean after 18 years plus i guess. weird right? but it's true. and do it in a rush way because the deadline to send the application to my association (to be appoved) is in about 5 days after Syaza and i make a decision to apply. Luckliy now Malaysia assigned to released a passport just in a day we applied. haha

And i send the application like 2 days before the deadline.by courier.haha.

And after that we just pray for our GOOD luck. XD

i dont know why, i think like want to setup back my personal blog.and yeah.this is my new blog.haha.

just want to make a memorial blog.about me.about my life.

Year 2008 is just a lucky year for me.

i thought.

but yeah, it's not that easy to go through.

but i'm happy.because i can learn MORE new things.

and experience some moments that i never been feel them before.

my lucky moments start with:

my STPM result. which released somewhere around February/March i think. and yeah, i'm HAPPY with my result. but not so satisfying. but i really grateful for it.:) Alhamdulillah (Praise to Allah) . And i think my late dad will happy with it too. I can imagine how he smile happily, like what he did so during my PMR achievement. How about SPM? Haha.It's not so satisfying.So-so ONLY.

And .. i hope for the bright future with the result.
